DAY 01Arrive and travel to Shillong
Transfer from the confirmed gateway towards Shillong. A stop around Umiam can be considered if conditions and daylight allow.
DAY 02Shillong at your pace
Choose local cultural visits and a manageable scenic outing. Leave room to enjoy cafés or markets without trying to cover every viewpoint.
DAY 03Into Sohra
Travel to Sohra and visit selected waterfall viewpoints where access allows. Keep the number of stops realistic for the weather and road conditions.
DAY 04Choose your level of exploration
Select a cave, walk or local experience suited to your group. A demanding living-root-bridge trek requires a separate suitability discussion and is not assumed in the base journey.
DAY 05Towards Dawki and the river
Continue to the Dawki area for a riverside stay or nearby accommodation. Any boating is subject to conditions and operator confirmation; clear water is not guaranteed.
DAY 06Return to Shillong
Travel back towards Shillong, with selected stops only where the route and timing allow. Enjoy a final relaxed evening.
DAY 07Departure transfer
Return to the confirmed departure gateway with an appropriate road buffer. Adjust the final night if the departure is too early.
