DAY 01Arrive in Kochi
Meet your driver at Kochi airport or railway station. After settling in, explore Fort Kochi, Mattancherry and Jew Street as time permits, with a city and shopping visit including Lulu Mall around your interests.
- Marine Drive sunset cruise; Ernakulathappan temple and Edappally church visits.
DAY 02Kochi to Munnar
After hotel breakfast, continue from Kochi to Munnar. Stop at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls when seasonal conditions permit. A tea-garden visit can be considered if open and of interest.
DAY 03Munnar: tea country, lakes and viewpoints
Explore Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake and Echo Point. In the afternoon, plan Top Station OR Eravikulam National Park, subject to opening and route conditions. These are alternatives, not two guaranteed visits.
- Blossom Park and Tea Museum, if time and interest permit; entry charges are additional.
DAY 04Munnar to Thekkady
Drive to Thekkady and explore the Periyar area. Boating and jeep activities are optional and subject to availability. Settle into your stay for the night.
- Periyar boating or jeep safari; Kathakali and Kalaripayattu performances. Charges are additional.
DAY 05Into the backwaters: overnight houseboat
Continue to the Alappuzha/Kumarakom backwater boarding point confirmed in your proposal. The supplier schedules check-in from 12:30 pm and cruising until about 5 pm, followed by an anchored overnight stay. Confirm arrival timing, boat category and shared/private arrangement before booking.
DAY 06Backwaters to Kovalam
After breakfast, travel to Kovalam. The route includes a stop at Jatayu Park; entry and activity charges are additional. Check into your stay and enjoy the beach around sunset, conditions permitting.
DAY 07Poovar day trip
After breakfast, head towards Poovar and the mangrove-lined waters of the Neyyar estuary. Return to your Kovalam base after the outing.
- Poovar boating is optional and charged separately.
DAY 08Thiruvananthapuram departure
Check out after breakfast. The supplier outlines Thiruvananthapuram sightseeing, including Padmanabhaswamy temple, Priyadarshini Planetarium, Napier Museum and Sree Chitra Art Gallery, as time and opening conditions permit. Confirm your departure airport or station and transfer arrangement in your proposal.

- Only the experiences explicitly included in your proposal are prepaid. Optional activities and entry charges are additional.
Good to know before you choose
Travel times are supplier estimates and depend on conditions. Hotel room AC, extra-bed arrangements, early check-in and late check-out depend on the selected property. Houseboat boarding point, shared/private arrangement, meal details and category must be confirmed. Deluxe houseboat bedroom AC is listed as 9 pm–6 am. If a shared boat is chosen, the supplier permits couples, women and families, but not bachelor groups. Guests have a private bedroom with an attached bathroom; dining and living areas are shared. Shared-boat meals are vegetarian Kerala cuisine served in a non-buffet style, and guests must be in their rooms after 10:30 pm. Confirm these arrangements before choosing a boat. The final proposal confirms availability, transfers, inclusions and applicable terms before you book.
