01

Culture meets comfort: Ancient temples, local traditions and rice terraces sit comfortably alongside beautiful villas, cafés, spas and resorts.

02

Beach + jungle in one journey: Pair Ubud's green interior with the southern coastline instead of choosing between nature and the sea.

03

Made for memorable stays: Private-pool villas, jungle retreats, beachfront resorts and intimate boutique properties make the stay part of the experience.

04

Adventure on your terms: Raft, surf, snorkel, hike or ride an ATV—or do absolutely none of it and spend the afternoon at a spa.

05

Especially good for couples & groups: Honeymoons, anniversaries, friends' trips and family holidays can all work here because Bali is remarkably easy to personalise.

Good to know

Best Time April–October is generally Bali’s drier season, with November–March typically wetter. For many leisure trips, May, June and September offer an appealing balance for outdoor exploration. Weather patterns can still vary year to year. Visit Indonesia Best For Couples · Honeymoons · Families · Friends · Wellness · Soft Adventure Bali works especially well when travellers want a mix of sightseeing and downtime rather than a holiday built around only one type of experience. Comfortable Stay 6–7 nights Enough for two contrasting parts of Bali—such as Ubud plus a coastal stay—without spending the holiday constantly packing and changing hotels. 4–5 nights can work for a compact trip. 8–10 nights is better if you want additional islands, more activities or slower resort time. Suggested Pace Easy to Moderate Bali rewards slower planning. Short distances on a map can still involve meaningful road time, so grouping experiences around where you stay usually creates a much better holiday. Visa for Indian Travellers Indian passport holders are currently eligible for Indonesia’s Visa on Arrival / electronic Visa on Arrival (B1). The initial stay can be up to 30 days, and the e-VoA can be applied for online before departure; a conventional embassy interview is not part of the standard process. A passport with at least six months’ validity and a return/onward ticket are among the stated requirements. Jakarta Pusat Imigrasi Currency & Payments Indonesian Rupiah — IDR (Rp) Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted at hotels, larger restaurants and many businesses in Bali’s main tourist areas. Carrying some Rupiah is still useful for markets, smaller establishments and more local experiences. International-network ATMs are common in major tourism areas.
